The overall risk level will vary according to the asset class in which the sub-fund invests. A bond fund, such as Oyster US Dollar Bonds will tend to be less volatile than an equity sub-fund like Oyster Italian Opportunities. Bond funds will invest in bonds while equity funds will invest in the stock markets and the diversified funds will allocate their assets in several asset classes.
